Email Newsletter:

If you sign up to our newsletter we may use your email address to send you information about products or services. You can opt out of these at any point and you can ask for personal data to stop being recorded at any time.

Customer Privacy Rights:

If you are concerned about your data, you have the right, subject to the payment of a small fee, to request access to personal data which we may hold or process about you.

Cancellation:

No goods are sold to the customer on a sale or return basis. The customer has no right to reject or return the goods without the consent of Plates of Pride Ltd. As goods are personalised a ‘cooling off’ period is not applicable and therefore once the order has been placed it cannot be cancelled. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Damaged Goods:

Damaged goods must be reported to Plates of Pride Ltd within 7 days of delivery by email, along with your order number and a photograph of the damage. Not following this process means that Plates of Pride Ltd will not accept responsibility and the customer will not be entitled to reject the goods. We will confirm receipt and if acceptable we will arrange a replacement product to be sent to you in a timely manner or a full refund of the purchase price and standard postage, whichever the customer would prefer.

Errors:

Plates of Pride Ltd does not accept responsibility for customer input or spelling mistakes on orders. Plates of Pride Ltd does not accept responsibility for errors on larger orders once a printing proof has been accepted by email by the customer.

We cannot be responsible for interest charges made by your credit card company while waiting for returns to be refunded to your card.

Liability:

Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by negligence on behalf of Plates of Pride Ltd, Plates of Pride Ltd will not be liable to the customer by reason of any representation, implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the conditions for any consequential loss or damage (whether for loss or profit or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claims for consequential compensation whatsoever which arise out of, or in connection with the supply of the goods or their use or resale by the customer.

Website Liability:

Whilst Plates of Pride Ltd endeavours to keep the website and emails free from viruses, trojans, worms and any other similar such ailments, Plates of Pride Ltd shall not be liable to the customer or site visitors for any destructive results.

Notices:

All notices you send us must be sent to the contact details on this site. We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when making a purchase. Notice will be deemed received and properly served 24 hours after an email is sent or three days after the date of posting of any letter. In providing the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that the letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an email that the email was sent to the specified email address of the addressee.

Force Majeure:

Plates of Pride Ltd shall not be liable to the customer or be deemed to be in breach of the contract of sale for any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of Plates of Pride Ltd obligations in relation to the goods if the delay or failure was due to any reason beyond Plates of Pride Ltd’s reasonable control.

Conclusion:

These terms are governed by Scottish law. Any contract for the purchase of goods from this site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with any such contract will be governed by Scottish law.
